In the Office?

I work in an open office- you know everyone sits in cubicles and not in offices.  So, the day after my breastfeeding post a part-time consultant that works for the company I work with cam into to the office with her baby and she was breastfeeding her baby at her desk.  I support breast feeding, but I thought she should go into the conference room to breastfeed.  Although I think that it is a great thing to do, I don't think it is appropriate to do it in the middle of an office.  But I am sort of feeling bad about feeling this way because I want to support breastfeeding, not discourage it or make it harder for families that make the decision to breastfeed.

Mother Sucker!

I am looking for things to do, so to speak.  One of my new adventures is my Mother Sucker line.  Right now I have onesies for sale and am working on other projects.  Mother Sucker is about breastfeeding.  Get it now?  Yeah, my home-ish and other stuff blog just went to breastfeeding.  I am a huge supporter of breastfeeding.  It is great for baby and mommy.  However, I respect every families choice to make whatever decision is best for them.

9 years and counting!

Today mark's my 9th wedding anniversary.  To reward my husband for putting up with my craziness for so long, I am going to give him rum.  Hopefully it will help him get through the next 9 years.

This is a really hard to find bottle of Single Barrel Cruzan Rum.  Its an older design and a larger than usual size (1.75L).  Not sure if he will open it or just keep it to show it off.  Either way, I hope he likes it.

Hi. Hello. Good day. Nice to meet you.

I stopped blogging for a while and I missed it.  For those of you who were following by blog Getting to Home Sweet Home, I will let you see where we are with the house now.  Here's a hint...  not done and very sour.  More on that later.

Welcome to my new blog.  Although I have been and expect to be incredibly busy, I plan to be a much better (regular) blogger this time around.  Also, I will be sharing more of my thoughts on other subjects. Some personal and some random.  Unfortunately, I don't know that I will be sharing too much of my personal struggles, because that tends to be hard for me.  However, one of my goals for this blog, is to start sharing... a little more- highs and lows.  I know I need to open up more -this is the internet so there is no way I could share everything- and I hope this is a step in the right direction, whether it happens on this blog or off.

Sometimes, I will want some advice from you.  I am always going through things and wish I could get feedback and advice from someone outside of my real life.  Other times I will just share whatever is on my mind... current events, pop culture, crazy shizz,...  I hope you hang around for the ride.
